For sale is a Jacobs Rubber-Flex 1-3/8" Diameter Capacity Collet
Chuck. 2-1/4" Threaded back plate to fit South Bend Lathes with
2-1/4" threaded spindle noses. This collet chuck operates smoothly;
opening and closing correctly. The nose-piece is easily removed
for collet changes.
The size if 2-1/4" or 2 3/8" (a bit hard to measure) by 6 TPI (for sure).
The threaded mounting is marked with the South
Bend Lathe logo
The threads are DEFINITELY 2 1/4-6 TPI. Do not ask us again to double
check
those threads.
