For sale is a HUGE Vacuum Cooling Environmental Test Chamber.
Dimensions 17ft long,60 inch outside diameter, 53 inch inside
diameter. All dimensions are APPROXIMATE and subject to buyer
verification.
It was used by ISR Goodrich/Recon Optical to test optical
spy camera assemblies used in spy planes and spy satellites.
It has a sight glass, a big opening on one end, and a smaller
opening in the middle. It also has a bunch of electronics and
valves attached. It is up to the buyer to determine how to use it
and what you need to make it work -- I cannot guarantee any
electronic or other attachments, cables, connectors, etc.
This chamber was located inside of a scientific lab and was only
used for occasional tests. In separate listings, I have listed
vacuum pumps and other control items that were in the same lab.
No vacuum pump or cooling equipment is included with this chamber,
they are listed separately. I have a 15 HP Beach Russ vacuum
pump [IT WAS SOLD] and several smaller pumps as well, and also
refrigeration
equipment, all coming from the same lab.
